Evangelist: Adam Faughn
Adam began his work with Central on July 1, 2018. He came to Central after preaching in Nashville, Tennessee (Lebanon Road Church of Christ) and Haleyville, Alabama (9th Avenue Church of Christ). His favorite style of preaching is to take a text and let it speak for itself.
Adam is married to the former Leah Moon. They met at Freed-Hardeman University and have been married since 1999. They are blessed with two children. Mary Carol is their adopted treasure and Turner is their God-given surprise. Leah homeschools their two children. Adam is the son of a preacher (Jim Faughn; former minister at Central) and his wife’s brother is a preacher (Jason Moon; Boone Church of Christ; Boone, North Carolina). Also, his father-in-law served as an elder in Alabama for about 30 years. Adam graduated from Freed-Hardeman University, where he received a B.A. in history in 1999 and a Master of Ministry in 2003.
Before moving into the pulpit, Adam was a youth minister for about ten years and still loves helping young people. He enjoys reading American history and keeping up with the world of sports. His goal in life is to reach heaven and help as many others receive that eternal blessing. He enjoys writing and, along with several members of his family, maintains a family website, A Legacy of Faith. His favorite books of the Bible are Job, John, and James.
Youth & Family Minister: Noah Davis
Noah was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and grew up on the mission field in Mumena, Zambia, until he was 12. After moving to the States, he lived in Abilene, TX, and Austin, TX, where his parents worked for World Bible School (WBS). Noah attended Freed-Hardeman University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministry. He has been with Central since June 2022. Noah works with the Central Youth Group (CYG) and their families, teaches classes, and prepares activities, retreats, and mission trips to help bring families and their youth closer to each other and to the Lord.
Noah is married to Allison Davis (Sortino) from Jasper, AL. They met at Freed-Hardeman University and were married in February 2024. Allison works as an Occupational Therapist in the Paducah area.
Noah and Allison love working with teenagers and watching the faith of youth come alive and become their own. They love the fine arts, visiting new places, watching football, learning about various cultures, and sharing their faith both on the domestic and international mission fields. Their hope is that every young person will come to know the love of God, commit to a lifetime of faithfulness, and be equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
